A VPS built for real workloads
A VPS (virtual private server) is a virtual machine with resources reserved for you: the vCores, memory and storage of your plan are not shared with other customers. You get root access, so you can run anything a physical server can, from busy websites and APIs to Discord bots, your own Nextcloud, Docker stacks or a game server panel.
It is the step up from web hosting when you need a service on its own port, an exact version of PHP or Node.js, a process that runs around the clock, or resources that do not depend on your neighbors. As the admin, you also own security updates, the firewall and backups. If nobody on your team likes the Linux command line, take web hosting or add Plesk on top of your VPS.
LXC or KVM: your choice, free of charge
Your VPS starts as an LXC container. Containers share the host kernel and use almost no overhead, so nearly everything you book goes to your applications. For web servers, databases, bots and most Docker setups, this is the fastest option.

Starter at €5.00 a month gives you 4 vCores, 8 GB RAM and 60 GB NVMe: plenty for a website with thousands of daily visits, a bot or a staging environment. Performance at €10.00 doubles the memory to 16 GB with 6 vCores and 120 GB NVMe, ideal for several Docker containers or a mid-sized database.
Pro at €20.00 (8 vCores, 32 GB, 240 GB) and Ultimate at €30.00 (12 vCores, 64 GB, 480 GB) are built for memory-hungry workloads: Elasticsearch, several WordPress sites with their own databases, a big Redis cache or a heavily modded game server.
Torn between two plans? Start with the smaller one. Upgrading takes no reinstall and keeps your IP address, so you only pay for capacity when you actually need it.

VPS FAQ
Is an NVMe VPS also an SSD VPS?
Yes, the faster kind. NVMe drives are SSDs connected straight to the PCI Express bus instead of the SATA interface. If you are looking for an SSD VPS, you get pure NVMe storage with us, and databases, package managers and web servers respond noticeably faster.
Can I order from outside Germany?
Yes. You can order from any country and pay in euros with PayPal; if PayPal offers it, you can also pay by credit card. The servers are in France, inside the EU, and connected across Europe through SmartNet and the Nine-IX internet exchange.
How fast is my VPS ready?
Provisioning is automatic: a few minutes after payment your server is up and you can log in over SSH. There is no manual approval. Only a switch from LXC to KVM is requested separately, by ticket in the client area.
Can I upgrade to a bigger plan later?
Yes. Upgrades need no reinstall and keep your IP address. Downgrading is trickier: if your data takes more space than the smaller plan offers, you have to clean up first. When in doubt, start small.
Are my data backed up automatically?
No. As the admin of an unmanaged VPS, you are in charge of your data. Set up an off-site backup from day one, for example with rsync and cron, restic or BorgBackup. A backup on the same server does not protect you if that server is lost.
Is DDoS protection really included in the price?
Yes. UnioShield filtering is always on for every VPS, with no add-on and no surcharge. Traffic is filtered before it reaches your machine. Keep a firewall on the server anyway: services that do not need to be public should stay closed.
Will my price go up after the first year?
No. Every renewal costs exactly what you paid at checkout, with no intro discount that expires after twelve months. There is no setup fee and no minimum term: you are billed monthly and can cancel any time.
Can I use Plesk or a game server panel?
Yes. Plesk Obsidian is available for €25.00 a month, preinstalled on Debian 11, and Pterodactyl comes as a ready-made image. If you only want to run Minecraft or FiveM, a game server plan is cheaper and runs on higher-clocked processors.
