On top, we peer at Nine-IX, the European internet exchange, with over 160 networks including Free, Orange, OVHcloud and Hetzner, so your traffic takes the short route. Every attack is filtered twice: first at SmartNet, then by UnioShield right in front of your server.

Questions before you order
How fast is my server ready?
VPS, Windows VPS and game servers are provisioned automatically: a few minutes after payment you receive your credentials. Web hosting is active instantly.
Where are the servers located?
In France, inside the EU: game servers in Strasbourg, right on the French–German border, VPS and web hosting in Paris. Both reach the internet through SmartNet, a Frankfurt network operator specialized in DDoS mitigation, and through the European internet exchange Nine-IX.
Can I order from any country?
Yes. UnioHost serves customers all over Europe and beyond: you order online in a few clicks, pay in euros and manage everything from the client area.
Is there a minimum term?
No. Every plan is billed monthly and can be cancelled in the client area at any time; your service runs until the end of the paid month. There is no setup fee.
Does my plan get more expensive after the first year?
No. There are no promo prices with a later surcharge: renewals cost exactly what you paid at checkout, in month two just like in month thirteen.
Is DDoS protection really included?
Yes, in every plan and at no extra cost. Attacks are filtered twice, first in the SmartNet network, then by UnioShield right in front of your server, from volumetric floods to application-layer attacks.
